story fourth dimension with breanna

Today's story is the fourth dimension Breanna met Dan and Phil at Playlist Live

under a cut because this will probably be long af

Okay and then our story today takes place in March of 2013, later I had been watching DnP on youtube for about six months or so. My best friend and I were going to Florida for a week, and would be catastrophe our trip by going to Playlist.

Now, we were pretty excited to get to encounter plenty of people (Marcus, Alfie, Jim, Caspar, Troye, etc) but we were most excited to come across Dan and Phil. Their meet and greet was happening on Sabbatum morning, and the two of us got in line, ending upward somewhere towards the middle/back.

I don't know if anyone else has been to Playlist, especially back then, but it was not a very organized event. They did piece of work out some of the kinks, simply at this point in time, the meet and greets were all kind of happening in the aforementioned room and weren't scheduled out very well.

Basically, DnP had their stage outcome correct after their meet and greet, and the people running the event misjudged the amount of time they would demand to meet everyone earlier the event started. So their solution was to cutting off the line so that the boys could all the same brand their event on time.

Shortly after this decision was made (I'm non certain if they announced if this was happening or if they just did information technology) a group of about four or 5 girls that had been backside usa in line shoved forward to become ahead of u.s.a.. And when I say shoved, I mean information technology literally. My friend almost got pushed to the footing, and they didn't even intendance or noticed.

So at this point, nosotros were already pretty upset. And and so the security guards came to where nosotros were in line and, of grade, decided to cutting it off right in front end of us. At present we were properly pissed off.

Most people behind us dispersed, and we had a conclusion to brand. Instead of pouting near it, nosotros went over to Troye'due south line (his meet and greet was happening at the same fourth dimension) and got to meet him considering the line was hella brusque. And then that was fun, and he was super sweet, and it'south funny to think that I met Troye earlier he got super popular.

Nosotros hung around a bit longer, until DnP's run into and greet was basically done, just they hadn't left the room yet. Now, my friend and I are not usually one'due south for any sort of confrontation or even talking to anybody, only we thought 'what's the worst that could happen?' So nosotros went up to 1 of the security guards and very politely explained what happened.

I should say that at this bespeak in time, we were Non expecting anything to come up of this. Nosotros definitely thought we'd get possibly a niggling sympathy, but get told there was zilch that could be done. However, the security guard (bless her center) said she'd go and ask the boys if they'd be willing to meet united states quickly.

And in a true testament to just how Absolutely SWEET these boys are, they agreed. Even though they had just spent over 2 hours meeting people, and were about to go exercise a phase prove, they nevertheless agreed to run across the 2 of us.

And then we very nervously walked up to where they were standing, and proceeded to give thanks them profusely, all without looking them in the optics. We asked if nosotros could go pictures with them, and they very graciously said yes. And so we each got a film with the boys, and and then that was it. The whole interaction took probably a minute, tops, merely it is nevertheless one of the best minutes of my life.

Moral of the story is, don't be afraid to ask for things because yous never know what's going to happen. As well, Dan and Phil are the sweetest human beings on the planet tbh.

Hey I saw you lot went to come across DnP! can y'all give some communication? I'g going to meet and encounter them in July and seeing all this stuff is genuinely making me freak out. how does the see and greet go? what should I bring to sign? would it exist weird if I took my picture on a Polaroid camera? I'm lamentable to be a bother, I'm only freaking out

Hey! No problem you're not a bother! Each venue works differently only I'll explicate what happened in the Brighton 1. First, the venue should send you an e-mail a few days before about what time to arrive, this is normally 3 hours before the evidence. Brand sure to leave plenty of fourth dimension!

The actual meet and greet is super quick only so sugariness! I don't call up they accept gifts merely people give them anyway! My tip is don't programme exactly what y'all're going to say because as soon every bit you go round that corner, yous will forget everything 😂

They volition sign one affair, I decided my ticket! I think you can utilize a Polaroid but I didn't see anyone at this encounter and greet employ one. I would advise against it because you can just get 1 movie and y'all want it to be your best! (or ask them to photo burst!) But it's upward to you! (You can always edit and print it later to look like one!)

Don't worry almost freaking out! Everyone in that room is! My heart was pounding haha I was shaking likewise merely they understand and will help you! Like suggest something for you to sign. They are so sweet!!

We're talking about how, oh, I fabricated this video [Basically I'm Gay] and that must accept been really good for helping lots of young people, but really, I have to say thanks to all of the queer people. And actually simply the accepting cis straight people in my audience that just had such a welcoming attitude. Because information technology's not like I woke up one day and I was ready. For me, my life was a journeying until I was 28 to feel like I was finally to come out, or just to talk about sexuality. And if information technology wasn't for the immature people, who all the time said: Hey, massive lesbian here - beloved your videos. Just seeing that. The people who came to my tour and said: Hi, I accept something to share with you. Y'all know, there's people there came out in front end of their parents, people who told me that they were ace or nonbinary and it'south, you know, as much as these people take said: Hey, (you know, the community of people who've watched the videos), the stuff yous've done, you make me feel welcome. It's only as much the other way around. If it wasn't for seeing so much of them out at that place, yous know. It'due south the young people today that are and so inspiring. Considering it tin can feel scary, y'all know? These times, and especially trans issues, living here in the UK. Today was Dan and Phil's meet up at Vidcon in California. I was not going to utilise this see and greet because information technology was for a friend but sadly she couldn't come up. Afterward asking a lot of people I decided that I should non let the encounter and greet go to waste.

Then basically all I got to do for 2 plus hours was wait in line. The fun part was whenever Vidcon coiffure establish out people were scamming their way into meeting Dan and Phil. They sent Dan and Phil to their break and would not allow them come up out until everyone in line was registered and had this run into and greet. Thank goodness that disaster was over but sadly people that scammed their mode through well some still met them. I'g all for anybody meeting Dan and Phil simply it just wasn't off-white to them to exist in that location longer than they were told. Plus they haven't slept for 2 days. Goodness.

Anyways to the part where I meet them. I flew from east Tennessee for Vidcon and to vacation in Los Angeles. With that beingness known I had my boarding passes and thought it would be funny for them to sign after they told u.s.a. almost their plane fail. So it comes to be my turn and Phil is outset so I'k just similar arms open and jogging to him saying HI. I was so happy they are so nice and cute and I merely cannot say enough positive things most them. So I hugged Dan and I swear their hugs are so expert. Like Phil tin just hug me all day and I would not listen. After the hugs I said that I flew all the way from Tennessee for this and thought after the story last night that yous could sign my boarding passes. They said certain and did. After that I said then I'yard jet lagged and you two are jet lagged and so let's just pretend we say something cool and take a photo. Dan was looking at me like he knew what I was saying just really didn't. We all do that. That just makes me laugh. So I manus my telephone over for a photo and my camera decided to go back to the regular screen and on the screen is twitter, tumblr, instagram, wattpad, clock, photographic camera, and more. He literally saw that I had wattpad. Like please run me over and get out me to die. I didn't say what I wanted to do for the photo so we just smiled. What's so funny is that it looks but like my beginning photo. lol. I cannot with my life. Afterwards the photograph was taken I got my phone dorsum and Dan said cheers for coming all the fashion out and for watching our videos. I get out to get my bag and go along on with life.

That is my meet and greet with Dan and Phil at Vidcon US 2017. Tin I be honest? I literally didn't feel that not bad subsequently meeting them. I think it was rushed and that it wasn't as personal to me equally meeting them final twelvemonth at the Washington DC stop on TATINOF. Overall I'k actually grateful and wanted to share my experience with people that haven't meet them and to permit everyone know that they are actually nice and do intendance well-nigh their subscribers.
